SIR ANDREW STRAUSS
“SUPERMAN” CATCH.
A tribute to one of cricket’s most memorable moments, created in support of the Ruth Strauss Foundation.
The story behind the work.
The painting celebrates Sir Andrew Strauss and his famous “Superman” catch. The piece was created in collaboration with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, established in memory of his late wife, Ruth, and was presented to Strauss at a dinner in the Lord’s Long Room.
The artwork combines a defining moment in cricket with a charitable cause, bringing the story behind the catch and the Foundation’s work together in one original piece.
