Golf · Ryder Cup 2014A celebration of the 2014 European team. Originally intended for Dreamflight, it was later gifted to a local fundraising event.
Popular cultureAn Obi-Wan Kenobi painting that began as a personal artistic challenge after seeing another artist’s work. It sparked the idea to create paintings in this style; the finished piece was later gifted to a close friend.
Automotive · FilmA study of the famous car scene from Bullitt, originally created as a challenge to test whether I could develop this style of painting for myself. The painting remains in my office.
Private commissionOne of my first private commissions, created as a stylised couple’s portrait.
Family commissionA commissioned family portrait created as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law.
Personal work · Animal portraitA portrait of Clarence, a much-loved Great Dane who belonged to my wife’s aunt and uncle. This painting captures his regal presence; Clarence sadly passed away some years ago.
Automotive · Personal giftA painting of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, created as a gift for my brother-in-law, whose lifelong interest in cars led him to work as a mechanic.
Personal work · Animal portraitThe companion piece to Regal, portraying the same dog, Clarence, a Great Dane from my wife’s aunt and uncle’s family. This painting captures his more playful character.
Football · Original workMy very first original painting in this graphic style — an important early step in finding my own direction as an artist.
Football · England 5–1 GermanyInspired by England’s famous 5–1 win over Germany, this painting was made as a gift for my closest and oldest friend — a Liverpool supporter, with Owen playing for Liverpool at the time.
Film · Personal giftA scene from Ghost, painted as a birthday gift for my then-girlfriend, now wife. There was one small complication before I could give it to her: I discovered she had never seen the film.
Golf · The MastersIan Poulter guiding his son Luke as they read a putt on the Wednesday at The Masters — a title that feels especially fitting given how well Luke is playing.
Landscape · CommissionCommissioned by a former colleague, this was my first exploration into landscape painting and a chance to take the graphic style into a different subject.
