Commissioned as a surprise gift for Tom “Dunnie” Dunn at his 2026 testimonial dinner, this piece captures one of his most iconic moments in rugby: walking off the field battered and bruised, yet still smiling. The moment reflected his toughness, determination and unmistakable character, and helped earn him the moniker “Warrior”.

To honour that nickname, the clothing branding in the artwork was changed to make the idea part of the piece itself. The result is a personal tribute to the resilience and spirit Tom has brought to the game.

The story continued beyond the original commission. Prints were produced for a stand-up/sit-down auction, with Tom graciously signing them to help raise further funds for charities connected to him and Bath Rugby.
